Amsterdam, April 19, 2011 -> Thousands of boaters have visited the Used Boats Show last weekend. They wanted to orient themselves on a new boat. A good number of them have found their dream boat. A total of 175 boats were shown in the Bataviahaven in Lelystad, where this year the show was organized for the second time. Exhibitors were very satisfied and the organizers HISWA Multimedia and Botentekoop.nl were satisfied too. In total 3.838 people visited the second edition of the HISWA Used Boats Show.

For every watersport lover a wide choice
Also thanks to the wonderful weather visitors and exhibitors were well tuned. The large number of mainly young used boats offered for every water sport lover a wide choice. Sailboats from 8 to 14 meters and motorboats from 6 to 26 meters made the HISWA Used Boats Show a good moment for visitors to orient and compare boats directly.

Of exhibitors were mostly positive feedbacks. Bouke Thijsseling of the schepenkring Lelystad let  know that he found that the public and also the offer of a good quality was. “ Especially the Sunday was a good day for us. Next time we have quite a few appointments.” PB Water sport let us know that he have sold three boats and also The Valk brokers was able to brought  some of the 28 ships over to a new owner.  Dries Plevier van Plevier water sport was also ´positive surprised´

A total of 3.838 boaters passed the entrance of the show. The entrée price was this year two Euros included a cup of coffee. This had the result that there came less visitors than last year, but the quality of the visitors was better.

Foreign visitors
An American couple from Seattle spontaneously bought a Van Kessel motor yacht that was offered by P. Valk Yachts from Franeker. The day before the show the Americans has visited Brokerage ´Het Wakend oog´ in Woudsend. They couldn’t found the yacht of their wishes there. The broker drew them to the Used Boats Show in Lelystad and gave them two invitations with them.

Cooperation
The HISWA Used Boats Show is an initiative of three major players in sport country: HISWA Multimedia and Botentekoop.nl, specialists in organizing shows and offering boats. The target of the show is to stimulate the trade ships and used boats for customers of HISWA Multimedia, Amsterdam RAI and Botentekoop.nl. In 2012 another HISWA Used Boats Show will be organized. The exact dates will be announced at a later date.
